LUNG’s Artistic Director Matt Woodhead, co-writer of The 56, and John Godber, both of whom have created dramatic work for the stage that, in different ways, are about sport, discuss the relationship between sport, drama, community and audiences. The discussion will be chaired by E52’s Dave Windass, no stranger to writing plays about sport himself, with two plays set against the backdrop of rugby league.
